Mr. Eugene Alexander Brown (Alex) completed his BSN from California Baptist University in December 2014 and received his RN license in May 2015. He worked at Corona Regional Medical Center in both the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit & the Progressive Care/Pediatrics Unit from 2015-2017. He also worked at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in the Acute Care Pediatric Unit from 2017-2020. He completed his MSN- Family Nurse Practitioner at CBU in May 2019 and received his FNP-C license in Dec. 2019. He started his DNP in Fall 2020.
Eugene currently is a full-time assistant professor at Western University of Health Sciences College of Graduate Nursing. He is currently the President of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing: Chi Mu Chapter as a representative for the College of Graduate Nursing on the University’s Office of Mission Integration’s Humanism, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion committee, and the CGN DEI committee. Eugene is a fierce advocate for DEI within professional and community settings.
